Antigua
If you love beaches then Antigua
is your dream destination. With 365 different beaches,
there's one for every day of the year. Antigua's
gentle plains and low rolling hills are dotted with
old mills that used to service the sugar plantations.
The
scenery changes quite suddenly as you travel around.
The roads will lead you through mango and pineapple
groves and on into a tropical, semi-parched landscape
before plunging you into lush rainforest. |
Aruba
- One Happy Island
Aruba
is a generally flat island renowned for its many white
sand beaches; its tropical climate is moderated by constant
trade winds from the Atlantic Ocean; the temperature
is almost constant at about 27 degrees Celsius (81 degrees
Fahrenheit). Tourism is the mainstay in Aruba,
with offshore banking, oil refining and storage also
being important industries. |
Belize
The Belize
River meanders through the middle of the city; and twice
a day, the city's swing bridge closes for about 20 minutes
to allow sail boats to pass. The cruise tourism industry
has changed the face of downtown Fort George on the
north side of the river. This area, already distinctive
for its colonial architecture, now is also the bustling
center for tour guides, craft persons & other vendors
who have set up in the area around a picturesque tourism
village. |
Colombia
Known for its beautiful Caribbean beaches, friendly
people and exquisite colonial buildings, Cartagena should
be on everyone’s itinerary when visiting Colombia!
The old town of Cartagena is walled by an old Spanish
fort. Abundant monasteries, churches, plazas and palaces
are scattered throughout the city, creating a wonderful
place to explore part of Colombia’s
colonial past. |
Costa
Maya - Mexico
Beginning where the Mayan Riviera ends, the Costa
Maya stretches along the coastline
down to Belize. Highway 307 veers away from the coast
when it gets to Felipe Carrillo Puerto you are more
than 50km away from the coast. Driving along dirt roads
one can cruise the coastline, the roads are not well
maintained. The Costa
Maya is the last remaining section
of coastal properties yet to be exploited & there
are acres of coastal land with absolutely no development.

Costa
Rica
Costa
Rica is an absolute paradise in matters
of beaches. The coastline has a length of over 1800
km with a never-ending variety of beaches for any possible
taste. There are rocky and stony beaches, sandy beaches
with white, gray, bluish black, tan, and pink colored
sand. From Playa Avellanas to Playa Vuelta del Sur,
and any name in between, from the Pacific to the Atlantic
/ Caribbean, Costa
Rica offers an almost infinite number
of beaches for tourist enjoyment.

Curacao
Curacao
is one of the five islands of the Netherlands Antilles
in the Caribbean. It is located 40 miles off the coast
of Venezuela, 42 miles east of Aruba, and 30 miles west
of Bonaire. Curacao
is the largest of the five islands and the government
of the Netherlands Antilles is located here. Curacao
is an island with many small and beautiful beaches surrounded
by clear and refreshing water. |
Dominica
Dominica
surges from the sea with soaring peaks that seem to
be courting the heavens. Virgin flora covers these dramatic
mountains, creating swaths of verdant landscapes. The
residue of the fiery forces that created the island
thousands of years ago, as part of the Caribbean Ring
of Fire, bellows in several hot springs, valleys of
steaming earth, and a boiling lake which is the second
largest in the world. Along with geothermal wonders
come natural coolants: hundreds of pristine rivers and
streams web the island's lush terrain. Pure rainwater
sets brooks and cascades into motion by rushing down
picturesque cliffs. |
Grand
Cayman - The Cayman Islands
Stingray City in Grand
Cayman allows swimmers, snorkelers,
and divers to swim and feed stingrays. Stingray City,
located a short boat ride from the northern end of Grand
Cayman, is a series of shallow sand
bars where sting rays are found in abundance and visitors
can feed, pet, and interact with the animals. The southern
stingrays can grow to large sizes (100cm or more in
span) and are quite accustomed to being handled and
fed. |
Grenada
Grenada
is a rolling, mountainous island, covered with fragrant
spice trees and rare tropical flowers. Bordered by stunning
beaches, and dotted with picturesque towns, this verdant
island has long been a major source of nutmeg, cloves,
ginger, cinnamon, and cocoa. In the interior of this
volcanic island are cascading rivers and waterfalls,
lush rainforests, and one of the most breathtakingly
beautiful mountain lakes imaginable. |
